Please think about your children – the numbers are staggering at tens of thousands of orphans. They announced that today, for every dollar donated by individual Canadians to UNICEF Canada, the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) will contribute a dollar to UNICEF’s relief efforts that will benefit children affected by the recent earthquake.

UPDATE: the CIDA (Canadian International Development Agency) will match your donation to any charity registered with the Canadian Revenue Agency who will provide relief efforts for Haiti. We visited the Bas St-Laurent and Gaspesie this summer and here are a few snaps from our peaceful vacation. I’m trying to catch up now on post-production from photo sessions both before and after the vacation and I am looking forward to all of the sessions booked the remainder of this summer!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful new start to the year. 2008 was my best year ever with the most amazing clients, bellies, babies and smiles :-) . I’m ramping up for a new year and I’m hoping that this year will be even better than the last one! I’m eagerly awaiting my new camera and I’m just so excited about it.

Lots of changes coming for Vivian Doan Photography including new photography packages including some print packages, a brand new website that I have time to work on and new blog so stay tuned. Over the next few months things are gong to start changing!

On a sunny summer day in St-Leonard, I had the pleasure of taking photos of two little kids who are awaiting a sibling – who has probably arrived at this point. So this photo session was in honour of the two of them being just the two of them!! I had a really great time with the gorgeous Rachel and the carrot loving Morgan.

I wonder what things are like now that the baby has arrived…
