My husband, former Me Mom and Morgentaler, will be featured in an article in this week’s Montreal Mirror along with a photo from yours truly! He will also be featured in this week’s ICI. I am not sure which photo they have selected but it may be this one:
Am I allowed to say it? After spending so much time with these guys, and then watching them perform, I’m just blown away by their energy, their love of music and the way they can just rock out!! For all those who have not yet bought a ticket, please do so before it’s too late! I wish Me Mom and Morgentaler had not broken up and now I understand why some people have been to every single one of their shows in town! Bring on those funky-ass soul punches please… again again again. I miss the chanting of MeMom MeMom MeMom and I’m looking forward to Saturday night.
Well tonight is the first night of 4 performances for my husband’s band Me Mom and Morgentaler and I’m slated to take some photos tonight from the backstage area. It’s going to be very exciting and I cannot wait!! It’s been a long ride to get here for Matt and I’m so proud of him. On Another note I was able to get a new banner for my blog so now it’s really my own blog complete with a custom Vivian Doan banner 🙂 It’s Me Mom and Morgentaler madness I tell ya!! Love the line that Gus said about Matt in the Gazette today: “Matt Lipscombe wrote some great songs” – he did!! I’m so proud of my husband and these concerts are like a gift to us – where he gets to relive the excitement of being onstage with 7 other musicians just rocking out to music that marked an entire generation including myself! |
